  1. (Although quick and easy, syrup mix will be very warm! Please use caution when preparing this recipe.)
  2. In a 1.5 qt casserole stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave at high 4 min. Stir in soynuts. Microwave at high 3 to 5 min, till light brown. Add in butter and vanilla to syrup, blending well. Microwave at high 1 to 2 min. Soynuts will be lightly browned and syrup very warm. Add in baking soda and gently stir till light and foamy.
  3. Pour mix onto lightly greased cookie sheet, or possibly unbuttered non-stick coated cookie sheet. Let cold 1/2 to 1 hour. When cold, break into small pcs and store in air-tight container.
  4. Makes about 1 lb..
  5. 16 servings.
