Ingredientes
- 1 c. Margarine -- softened
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Packed light brown sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 2 Tbsp. Orange juice
- 1/8 tsp Vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. Orange peel -- grated
- 1/2 c. Pecans -- finely chopd
Direcciones
- In large bowl of mixer, beat margarine and sugars till well blended. Add in egg and beat till light and fluffy. Beat in orange juice and vanilla. Stir together flour, salt and baking soda. Stir into butter mix. Stir in grated orange peel and minced pecans. If necessary, refrigeratebriefly till easy to handle. On waxed paper, form into two 1 1/4" diam. rolls. Wrap in waxed paper. Refrigeratefor 3 hrs, or possibly till hard. Slice 3/16th " thick. Place 1/2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 F. oven for 8-9 min till just golden brown. Remove to rack to cold.
