Receta Mississippi Mist Strawberry Pie

Ingredientes
- 2 c. chocolate graham cracker crumbs
- 5 Tbsp. margarine -- melted
- 2 pt fresh strawberries
- 8 ounce cream cheese
- 14 ounce sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. fresh lime juice
- 1 Tbsp. creme de menthe (optional)
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Direcciones
- Combine crumbs and butter in a small bowl. Press firmly on bottom and up side of a 9 inch pie plate.
- Chill till hard.
- Reserving 3 strawberries for garnish, cut off stem ends of remaining berries so they are no more than 1 inch tall. Arrange, cut ends down, on crust, chill. Beat cream cheese till smooth.
- Add in sweetened condensed lowfat milk; beat well. Add in lime juice and optional liqueur; blend well.
- Pour into prepared crust, covering strawberries.
- Chill overnight (it will taste great). Whip cream till soft peaks form. Gradually add in sugar and vanilla and whip till stiff and glossy. Using a pastry bag with a decorating tip, pipe a lattice design on top of the pie. Garnish with the reserved strawberries and lime slice.
