Ingredientes
- 8 ounce gluten cooked according to
- Â Â directions below
- 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. lite tamari or possibly soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. chopped ginger
- 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp. sweetener
- 2 tsp five-spice pwdr
- Â Â Vegetable cooking spray
Direcciones
- Form gluten into a cylinder and lightly simmer in water for at least 30 min till quite hard. Let cold and cut in small pcs in the Chinese
- "roll-cut" style. (Cut off one corner, turn the cylinder, cut again and continue. )
- Combine the remaining ingredients to make a marinade. Marinate the gluten pcs for 15 to 30 min.
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
- Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Drain gluten from marinade.
- Puton baking sheet and bake for 20 to 30 min. If gluten seems to be getting too dry, baste with the marinade. (Serves 4 as an appetizer or possibly used in a stir-fry)
- Here's a terrific tasting meat alternative. Eat as is, use in a stir-fry, or possibly as a filling for mock-pork buns.
