Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. shortening (butter)
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 c. rolled oats (oatmeal)
- 3 c. cut up dates
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 3 c. cut up cooked prunes, liquid removed
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 2 T lemon juice
- 2 T grated orange rind
- 1 c. cut up dates
- 2 c. mashed, cooked, dry apricots, liquid removed
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 T apricot juice
Direcciones
- In saucepan put together filling ingredients. Cook over low heat about 10 min, stirring constantly. Allow to cool.Cream sugar and shortening. Put together dry ingredients and add in to creamed mix. Add in rolled oats. Press 1/2 of mix into lightly greased 13"x9" pan. Spread with cooled filling. Top with remaining crumb mix. Bake till golden brown at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 min.
