Receta Mom's Special Au Gratin Potatoes

Ingredientes
- 3 lbs. potatoes
- 1/4 c. butter
- 5 tbsp. flour
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1/2 sm. onion, diced
- 1/2 c. cheese, grated
Direcciones
- Cook potatoes in skins. Cold. Peel. Dice. Make cheese sauce by melting butter in saucepan; add in flour, cook till thickened. Gradually add in lowfat milk, stirring constantly. Add in salt and pepper. Cook on low heat till thick and smooth. Add in cheese (1 c.) and allow to heat. Arrange alternate layers of potatoes, cheese sauce and diced onions in greased casserole. Sprinkle top with cheese (1/2 c.). Bake at 375 degrees for 25 min. Serves 8-10.
