Receta Mom's Spicy Coffee Bars

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. warm coffee
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/4 c. minced nuts
Direcciones
- Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Add in coffee and mix well. Add in blended dry ingredients to creamed mix and mix well. Stir in raisins and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min. Frost with icing while hot. Cold before cutting into bars. Yield: 3 dozen.
- ICING: Blend together 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar and 2 Tbsp. warm coffee. Blend together till creamy and smooth.
