Receta Mulled Summer Fruits In Chenin Blanc

- 2 c. Chenin blanc
- 3/4 c. Granulated sugar
- 2 tsp Lemon zest
- 5 whl cloves
- 4 whl allspice
- 3 stk cinnamon
- 6 c. Fresh fruit (orange slices, strawberries, blueberries
- Â Â Apricots, plums, pineapple slices, peaches and Mangos)
- Â Â Sorbet, ice cream or possibly whipped cream (optional)

- *DIRECTIONS* In medium saucepan, mix chenin blanc, sugar, lemon zest, cloves, allspice, and cinnamon. Heat, stirring, till mix reaches boiling point and sugar is dissolved. Cold. Layer fruit in attractive clear glass serving bowl. Pour wine mix over fruit. Cover and chill. Remove whole spices. Spoon into chilled stemmed balloon glasses. Top with sorbet, ice cream, or possibly lightly whipped cream if you like.
