Hey Drick! I think this recipe sounds fabulous. I am a big fan of battering and dipping foods and crunchiness makes it all the better!! For some reason, I think that this batter could probably make a boot taste great!!:) I once deep fried some fresh sliced beets that had gotten too big to roast and bring out their sweetness, about the size of softballs. They were awesome and exhibited an almost oyster like quality. I plan to make them again (with smaller beets though) and use your batter and see what happens. Thanks for sharing!
