Ingredientes
- 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- ½ cup pecans, toasted
- Various decorative sprinkles
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, add butter and both sugars. Using a mixer, beat until well combined. Add the vanilla and egg, mix just until incorporated. Set aside.
- In another large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk to mix thoroughly. Set aside.
- With the mixer on low, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Using a spatula, fold in the chocolate chips and the pecans.
- Spread the mixture into an 8-inch cast iron skillet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until done.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Decorate with sprinkles.
