Receta Oats and vegetable patties
You can have them with tea or serve them for lunch, these starters will never make you feel like you are committing a diet crime. You can savour these guilt free.
Ingredientes
- 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 1/4 cup low-fat ricotta cheese,finely crumbled
- 1/4 cup carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup potatoes, boiled , peeled and mashed
- 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1 pinch sugar
- Salt to taste
- Other ingredients:
- 1/4 cup low-fat milk (99.7% fat-free) for coating
- 1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats for coating
- 1 1/2 tsp oil for greasing and cooking

- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- 2. Divide the mixture into six equal portions and roll out each portion into a 50 mm. (2") flat round patty
- How to proceed
- 1. Dip each patty in milk and then roll them in oats till they are evenly coated from both the sides.
- 2. Heat a non-stick griddle and grease it using 1/4 tsp of oil.
- 3. Cook each patty, using 1/8 tsp of oil, till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
- 4. Serve hot with this dip
- Mix 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup with 3 tbsp of mayo.Mix well.Serve these patties with this mayo-ketchup dip.
