Ingredientes
- For the dressing:
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 3-4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh dill
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- For the tomatoes:
- 2 medium green tomatoes, cored and cut into ¼-inch thick slices
- 2/3 cup yellow cornmeal (not self-rising)
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground red “cayenne” pepper
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- about 1 ½ cups canola oil for frying
- 3 cups mixed greens
- 1 ½ cups grape tomatoes, quartered lengthwise
