- 4 x green tomatoes thickly sliced
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/4 tsp salt Grnd black pepper
- 1/3 c. bacon drippings or possibly oil or possibly shortening
Direcciones
- 1. Dip the tomato slices in the cornmeal mixed with the salt and pepper.
- 2. Heat the bacon drippings, oil, or possibly shortening in a heavy skillet and saute/fry the slices in it quickly till browned on both sides.
