Receta Pan Fried Goats Cheese With Caramelised Pears

Ingredientes
- 25 gm Unsalted butter, (1oz)
- 2 Tbsp. Soft brown sugar
- 1 x Pear, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 25 gm Sesame seeds, (1oz)
- 1 x Flat round goats cheese
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- Â Â Watercress to serve
Direcciones
- Heat the butter in a small pan and add in the sugar, when caramelised add in the pears and cook over a gentle heat till soft. Stir in the lemon juice.
- Cut the goats cheese in half and coat with the sesame seeds. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan and fry the goats cheese for a minute on both sides.
- Serve the cheese on a bed of watercress, topped with the caramelised pears.
- Spoon any remaining juices over the top and serve immediately.
- NOTES : A deliciously rich starter for a special occasion.
