Kids will enjoy making this bbq chicken in a paper bag, and you will like the easy clean up. Modified recipe from "My Mother's Southern Kitchen."

medium thick grocery bag - I use Kroger's
stapler
roasting pan

Ingredientes

  • Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbs. vinegar
  • 2 tbs. Worcestershire
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Colman's
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 3 tbs. minced onion
  • 4 bone in, skin on chicken breasts, or 4-6 mixed pieces
  • 1 tbs. oil
  • Tabasco to taste

Direcciones

  1. Put the sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 10 minutes, covered. Let cool.
  2. Heat oven to 375.
  3. Oil the bottom of the grocery bag.
  4. Dip the chicken in the sauce and arrange the pieces in the bag.
  5. Staple the bag closed, folding up about 2' to staple.
  6. Place the bag in the rosating pan.
  7. Cook 1 1/2 hours, remove.
  8. Let chicken rest 10 minutes for maximum juiciness.
  9. Plate the chicken and pour rhe sauce over it from the bag.
