Ingredientes

- 5 strips bacon cooked and crumbled (reserve fat)
- 1 medium sweet onion (diced)
- 1 green pepper (diced)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger (add another layer of spice without the heat)
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin (gives it a great earthiness)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 cups white or blush wine (something good, you would drink)
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
