Receta Pasta Twists With Beer Cheese Sauce

Ingredientes
- 8 ounce packaged dry tri colored corkscrew macaroni or possibly rope macaroni (gemelli)
- 2 med carrots, sliced
- 1 sm zucchini, coarsely minced
- 1 c. fresh whole mushrooms, quartered
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. Icehouse beer or possibly your favorite
- 3/4 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Direcciones
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain, keep hot.
- Meanwhile for the sauce, in a medium saucepan, cook the carrots, zucchini, mushrooms in butter or possibly margarine till tender. Stir in the flour. add in the lowfat milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat till thickened and bubbly.
- Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Add in the beer of your choice and heat through. Remove from the heat. Gradually add in the cheddar cheese, stirring just till melted. If you like, season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Makes 4servings.
