Receta Penne with Creamy Pesto
Ingredientes
- 1/4 kilo Penne pasta (Fussili is okay too)
- 1 1/2 cup All purpose Cream
- 1/4 cup Pesto
- 1/2 cup parmessan cheese (or grated cheddar)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced shallots
- 1/4 cup mushroom pieces or strips
- salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Direcciones
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions.
- Set aside
- Put olive oil onto hot pan and saute garlic and shallots for few seconds.
- Add mushrooms, stir fry.
- Add chicken broth and let it simmer slowly.
- Add the cream. stir and let it dissolve and fuse with the broth.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Put the pesto and stir. let it thicken according to desire.
- Once thick enough, pour on top of pasta.
- Add cheese on top.
- Serve while hot.
