Receta Peppercorn Steak With Rice And Baby Carrots

Ingredientes
- 1Â 1/2 c. white rice
- 3 c. water
- 1 pkt peppercorn sauce mix (plus 1% lowfat milk called for in preparation)
- 1 pkt frzn baby carrots (1 lb. or possibly 500 grams)
- 1/4 c. water
- 1Â 1/2 lb boneless sirloin steak (675 grams) trimmed
- 2 x green onions
- 7 x mushrooms
- 1 tsp white sugar
- 1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Original Seasoning
Direcciones
- 1. Combine rice and water in a microwave-safe pot or possibly casserole dish with lid. Cover and microwave at high for 20 - 25 min.
- 2. Prepare sauce according to package directions in a small stove-top pot. Simmer
- 3. Bring water and carrots to a boil in a small stove-top pot. Reduce heat and let simmer.
- 4. Spray a large nonstick fry pan with cooking spray. Brown one side of steak at medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile, chop green onions, then wash and slice mushrooms.
- Flip meat over to brown the other side and toss in the mushrooms and onion. Reduce heat till rice is ready.
- 5. Drain carrots when they are tender and fold in white sugar and seasoning. Stir.
- Cut the steak into serving pcs and serve with the peppercorn sauce poured on top.
- Yield: 4 - 6 servings
