Ingredientes
- 2 c. enriched flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 well beaten egg
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 quart. sugared strawberries
Direcciones
- Sift dry ingredients; cut in shortening till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Add in combined egg and lowfat milk. Stir just till flour is moistened. Spread proportionately in greased 8 inch round cake pan. Bake in warm oven (450 degrees) till golden, about 15 to 20 min. Split shortcake. Spread with butter (optional). Fill and top with sugared berries. Serves 6.
