Ingredientes
- 4 c. flour, unsifted
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
Direcciones
- Combine the flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening. Beat together vinegar, egg and water. Stir into flour mix. Divide into 4 equal portions. Place in wax paper. Refrigerateat least 30 min before rolling out on floured surface. If baking before filling, prick bottom and side walls with fork; bake at 450 degrees for 10 min. Bake till crust is golden brown. For a filled shell, bake according to pie filling recipe.
