Receta Pierogi Dough
Ingredientes
- 5 cups Flour
- 3/4 cup Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Hot Water ( not Boiling )
- FILLING: 1
- Boiled mashed potatoes
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese or
- Chez Whiz
- Cooked bacon diced small (optional)
- CREAM SAUCE:
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 ¼ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sour cream or Mayo or Yogurt
- chopped fresh dill
- 2 Green Onions
- 1/4 cup Chopped Bacon (optional)
Direcciones
- In a large bowl mix together the flour and salt,. Make a well in the center.
- Pour oil and water into the well of the dry ingredients. Knead dough just until dough is well mixed.
- Let rest for 10 to 30 minutes. I have used it even sooner
- Roll out about 1/8 "
- Cut with clean soup can or biscuit cutter.
- Fill with filling of chose, place on floured cookie sheet to freeze.
- Filling: mix potatoes and cheese together.
- Cream sauce: Mix ingredients together and simmer until slightly thickened, pour over pierogi, serve or put into oven to thicken up more.
