Receta Pinoy Pork Humba
I like doing this with the pork legs... the pork belly is good to use too.
Ingredientes
- 500 grams pork belly, cut into serving pieces
- 1 cup water
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon peppercorns
- 1/2 cup dried banana blossoms(puso ng saging)
- salt to taste
Direcciones
- In a big pot, combine pork belly, water, soy sauce and garlic.
- Simmer and bring to boil over low heat until pork belly is tender.
- Add vinegar and simmer for another 3 minutes.
- Add the bay leaf, banana blossoms, brown sugar, salt and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning according to taste.
