  1. In saucepan, stir together 2 c. Arm & Hammer baking soda & 1 c. cornstarch, add in 1 1/4 c. water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix is consistency of moist mashed potaotes.
  2. Turn out on a plate & cover with a damp cloth till cold sufficient to handle. Roll to 1/4" thickness. Cut shapes with cookie cutters. Press hole near top of each ornament with toothpick. Allow to dry on flat surface & harden overnight. Paint, decorate & protect with a shiny glaze.
