Receta Potato Rice Flakes
Potato Rice Flakesand is called phovu in konkani.It is prepared using only the basic ingredients like potato, onions, coconut and green chillies. It is a very filling breakfast item/evening snack
Ingredientes
- Rice Flakes â 1 cup
- onion â 1 small
- potato â 1 small â cut into tiny pieces
- green chillies â 3 to 4
- curry leaves â 6 to 7
- grated coconut â 2 tablespoons
- turmeric powder â a pinch
- salt to taste
- Lemon juice â (to taste)
Direcciones
- 1)Wash and soak the Rice Flakes in water for 5 minutes. Squeeze the water out of the Rice Flakes and set it aside.
- 2)Heat some oil in a kadai and add the onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Fry till the onion turns translucent.
- 3)Add turmeric powder and the potato pieces. Add salt and cook on a very low flame till the potato becomes soft.
- 4)Finally add the Rice Flakes grated coconut and mix evenly.
- Add some lemon juice to taste
