  1. For the Galapong: wash rice and soak in water overnight. Add boiled rice and salt then grind fine. Galapong should have the consistency of medium thick batter.
  2. For the Putong Puti: combine all ingredients and steam over boiling water for about half an hour.
  3. Puto is the accompaniment of dinugu-an.
