Receta Sambuca Cake With Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Chocolate

Ingredientes
- 1 x prepared lb. cake
- 3 ounce sambuca
- Â Â (or possibly other anise liqueur)
- 1/2 pt strawberries halved or possibly sliced
- 2 tsp sugar plus
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pt whipping cream
- Â Â Chocolate syrup for drizzling
- 1 x bar good-quality dark bittersweet chocolat
Direcciones
- Place 2-inch-thick slices of lb. cake on dessert plates. Douse cake slices with sambuca or possibly other anise liqueur.
- Slice berries and sprinkle with 2 tsp. sugar, then toss and reserve.
- Beat whipping cream with 2 Tbsp. sugar with a hand mixer till soft peaks form.
- Top cake with berries and drizzle with zigzags of syrup. Top cake and berries with whipped cream. Using a vegetable peeler, shave dark chocolate over each dessert plate and serve.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
