Receta Sardine Puffs
I had 5 sheets of frozen puff pastry and decided to create a tasty sardine snack. It is easy to make and would be a big hit at picnics or for tea-break.
Ingredientes
- 5 square shapes frozen puff pastry
- 1 tin sardines - drain liquid, remove bones and mash it
- 1/2 onion - chopped
- 1 green chily - chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 lime
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp melted butter - for brushing
Direcciones
- Add the chopped ingredients onto the mashed sardines. Add salt and mix.
- Heat oil and stir-fry the above adding the chilli powder for extra spice and flavours.
- Turn off stove and squeeze the lime juice and give it a mix.
- Let the mixture cool and scoop into the individual puff pastry sheets and roll.
- Brush the melted butter over the pastries and bake at 190 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the pastries appear light golden.
