%20don%E2%80%99t%20realize%20it%E2%80%99s%20staged.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOr%20is%20it%20staged?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOr%20are%20they%20insensitive%20idiots?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20problem%20is%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20know%20%E2%80%93%20and,%20frankly,%20can%E2%80%99t%20be%20bothered%20to%20find%20out%20so%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20watching%20any%20more%20videos%20on%20Facebook.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEven%20if%20you%20say:%20%E2%80%9COMG!!!!%20When%20you%20see%20what%20happens%20at%201%20minute%20you%E2%80%99ll%20cry!!%E2%80%9D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWell,%20for%20the%20record,%20I%20have%20never%20looked%20at%20any%20with%20that%20much%20hype,%20but%20I%20have%20succumbed%20to%20others%20that%20have%20been%20shared%20by%20people%20I%20recognize.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20perfectly%20appropriate%20and%20believable%20that%20the%20photographer%20filming%20the%20baby%20bear%20being%20stalked%20by%20the%20cougar%20was%20not%20in%20a%20position%20to%20intervene.%20And%20mama%20bear%20came%20to%20the%20rescue%20for%20those%20of%20you%20who%20haven%E2%80%99t%20seen%20it%20on%20one%20of%20the%20numerous%20occasions%20it%E2%80%99s%20made%20the%20circuit.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20the%20person%20filming%20a%20child%20falling%20through%20the%20ice?%20And%20continuing%20to%20film?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat%20was%20either%20staged%20or%20the%20person%20with%20the%20camera%20should%20be%20arrested%20and%20jailed%20for%20not%20dropping%20the%20camera%20and%20running%20to%20save%20the%20child%E2%80%A6.%20Not%20applauded%20for%20a%20great%20video.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%20I%20saw%20a%20real%20tear-jerker,%20complete%20with%20running%20commentary,%20imploring%20us,%20as%20humans,%20to%20be%20kind.%20It%20was%20of%20a%20homeless%20boy%20in%20New%20York,%20freezing%20temperature%20(5F,%20-15C),%20with%20no%20jacket,%20begging%20on%20the%20streets.%20The%20person%20with%20the%20camera%20recorded%20the%20boy,%20shaking%20and%20huddling%20in%20a%20garbage%20bag,%20for%202%20hours.%20Another%20homeless%20person%20finally%20came%20along%20and%20gave%20the%20boy%20his%20own%20jacket.%20He%E2%80%99s%20lauded%20as%20a%20hero.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20about%20the%20idiot%20with%20the%20camera%20who%20did%20nothing%20for%20two%20entire%20hours%20but%20watch%20a%20kid%20freeze?%20I%E2%80%99m%20fairly%20certain%20it%20was%20a%20human%20and%20not%20a%20security%20camera%20as%20the%20angle%20changed%20frequently%20and%20it%20zoomed%20in%20and%20out.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20that%20was%20real%20it%20makes%20me%20angry%20on%20behalf%20of%20the%20homeless%20boy%20and%20homeless%20man%20who%20helped%20him%20and%20ashamed%20of%20the%20person%20who%20was%20so%20insensitive%20as%20to%20record%20it%20rather%20than%20help.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20it%20was%20staged%20%E2%80%93%20fine,%20but%20admit%20it%E2%80%A6.%20And%20don%E2%80%99t%20get%20all%20preachy%20about%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20are%20groups%20who%20do%20social%20experiments%20and%20video%20the%20results,%20but%20they%20always%20state%20up%20front%20what%20they%20are%20doing%20and%20why.%20No%20one%20is%20endangered%20or%20harmed%20or%20(unduly)%20embarrassed.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EObviously%20as%20long%20as%20people%20click%20on%20and%20watch%20these%20cruel%20/%20fake%20videos%20they%E2%80%99ll%20continue%20to%20be%20made%20and%20continue%20to%20blur%20the%20lines%20of%20veracity.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStarting%20now%20I%E2%80%99m%20doing%20my%20infinitely%20small%20part%20to%20stop%20the%20madness.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20refuse%20to%20click.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOMG!!!!!%20Did%20I%20just%20make%20a%20New%20Year%E2%80%99s%20Resolution?????%20Someone,%20quick,%20grab%20a%20camera!?!?!?!?!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(That%20ought%20to%20handle%20punctuation%20overload%20for%20the%20year%20as%20well.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20update%20on%20January%204,%202016%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
