Receta SAVOURY RICE WITH GOLDEN CHEESE BALLS
This recipe makes for a good Weekend Dinner.Looks and seems a little fancy and very appetizing,it is both satisfying and delicious.

Ingredientes
- FOR SAVOURY RICE:
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1/2 small onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 courgettes
- 1 carrot
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups grated cheese(a combo of cheddar and mozzarella is good)
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp fresh or dried rosemary
- GOLDEN CHEESE BALLS:
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1-2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mix all ingredients and form it into a dough.
- Pinch out small balls.
- Deep fry to a golden.

- FOR SAVOURY RICE:
- Melt butter in a pan.
- Finely chop onion and garlic,add to the butter and cook on high for 1-2 mins.
- Trim courgettes and carrot and grate them both'
- Beat eggs lightly.
- Mix rice,eggs,grated vegges,butter,onion,garlic, 1 cup cheese,nutmeg,rosemary ,salt and pepper.
- Transfer into a lightly greased baking pan and smooth top.
- Keep aside covered.
- FOR GOLDEN CHEESE BALLS:
- Mix all ingredients mentioned under ''Golden Cheese Balls'' and form it into a dough.
- Pinch out small balls.
- Deep fry to a golden brown colour.Drain on a kitchen towel.
- Now,arrange the cheese balls all around the border of the baking pan and sprinkle cheese all over rice and press down a little.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for 15-20 mins or till cheese starts to bubble on top turning golden color.
