Receta Shelghum Ka Korma (Turnip Curry)

Ingredientes
- 1 lb Turnips
- 1/2 lb Onions
- 1/2 c. Lowfat yoghurt
- 1/2 c. Oil
- 3 tsp Almonds
- 3 tsp Dessicated coconut
- 3 tsp Poppy seeds
- 3 tsp Sesame seeds
- 3 tsp Coriander seeds
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Chilli pwdr
- 2 tsp Garlic & Ginger Grnd
Direcciones
- 1. Dry roast all the seeds, almonds and coconut in a frying pan and grind to a fine paste. Add in to the lowfat yoghurt with grnd spices and set aside.
- 2. Heat oil, add in sliced onions and fry till light brown.
- 3. Wash the turnip and cut into pcs. Add in the turnips to the pan and fry till light brown.
- 4. Add in lowfat yoghurt mix and fry for about 5 mins. Add in 1/4 c. water, cover and cook over very slow fire till turnips become tender, and a thick gravy has formed. Add in salt to taste.
