Receta Shepherd's Turkey Pie , (Low Sodium)

Ingredientes
- 2 x Onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil,
- 4 c. Turkey / chicken, cooked minced
- 1/4 c. Whole wheat flour,
- 2 c. Chicken stock or possibly broth,
- 2 c. Carrots, sliced, steamed
- 2 c. Tomato/canned peeled diced,
- 1/2 tsp Dry thyme,
- 1/2 tsp Dry rosemary,
- 6 x Potatoes, cooked, mashed
Direcciones
- In a large saucepan, saute/fry the onions in the oil for 5 min. Add in the turkey (or possibly chicken). Sprinkle in the flour, stir to blend. Add in the chicken stock, carrots, tomatoes, thyme, and rosemary.
- Cook over medium heat till thickened. Pour into a lightly oiled 3-qt casserole. Spread the potatoes over the top. Bake in a 375 F oven for 20 to 30 min, or possibly till browned.
