Receta Shrimp Creole With Rice Wheat Germ Ring

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Minced onion
- 1/2 c. Diced green pepper
- 1/2 c. Thinly sliced celery
- 1 x Chopped garlic clove
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 2Â 1/4 c. (18oz) tomato juice
- 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Crushed marjoram
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 1Â 1/2 lb Cooked shrimp (3 c.)
- Â Â RICE WHEAT GERM RING
Direcciones
- Saute/fry' onion, green pepper, celery & garlic in butter over low heat till tender but not browned, about 15 min. Stir in tomato juice & sauce, sugar, salt & marjoram; heat thoroughly. Combine cornstarch & water, stir into tomato mix & cook 3-5 min till thickened.
- Stir in shrimp; heat mix to serving temperature. Fill center of Rice Wheat Germ Ring with shrimp & sauce; pour remaining sauce over ring. Serve immediately.
