Receta Slow Simmered Pork Roast

Ingredientes
- 3 green onions, cut diagonally
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, julienne
- 2 star anise seed, whole
- 2 tbsp. soy bean condiment (mien see)
- 2 tbsp. light soy sauce
- 2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 1/2 c. water or possibly more
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced thin
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd white pepper
- 2 1/4 pound boneless pork roast (butt is preferred)
Direcciones
- Mix all ingredients together, except pork. Place the meat in an ovenproof casserole which is just large sufficient to hold it. Pour the sauce over the top, cover the dish and bake at 275 degrees anywhere from 5 to 8 hrs, depending on your taste. (You can also use your slow cooker and give it a little more time.) Serve with cooked rice and crisp salad. Yum!
