Receta Smashed Red Potato Pie
Rich potato dish to serve family and friends for dinner.
Ingredientes
- 3 lbs. red potatoes
- 1 stick melted butter
- 2 C favorite shredded cheese, divided
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 C sour cream (light ok)
- 1 C half and half or milk
- 2-3 scallions, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- garnish: cheese and paprika
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook potatoes in simmering water until fork tender.
- Mash them (skins on) and add the other ingredients, withholding some of the cheese for the topping.
- Put into a 2 1/2 qt. baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove and top with rest of the cheese and some paprika.
