Receta Smokey Paprika Honey Vinaigrette
Slightly sweet, wonderful salad dressing for iceberg, butter, or spring mix lettuces. Great on veggie salads with tomatoes, scallions, radishes, cucumbers, and mixed bell peppers, or use for a fruit salad.
Ingredientes
- 1/2 cup olive oil (not extra virgin), or veggie oil
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbs. stone ground mustard
- 1 tbs. lemon or lime juice
- 1/2 tbs. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tbs. grated onion, or 1 tbs. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. dry oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
Direcciones
- In a small skillet, smoke paprika over medium high heat until fragrant (this only takes seconds).
- Grate an onion until you have 2 tbs.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
- Refrigerate at least 8 hours before serving.
