Receta Soft Ginger Cookies

Ingredientes
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 2 tbsp. sugar
Direcciones
- Combine flour, ginger, soda, cloves, cinnamon and salt; set aside. Beat sugar and shortening till fluffy. Add in egg and molasses; beat well. Stir dry ingredients into beaten mix. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll in the 2 Tbsp. sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 1/2 inches apart.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven about 10 min till light brown and still puffed. Don't over bake. Let stand 2 min before removing from pan. Makes 24 three inch cookies.
