  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • 2 med onions minced
  • 2 x garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 x green bell pepper seeded, minced
  • 2 lb lean grnd beef
  • 2 1/2 c. cooked kidney beans
  •     (or possibly a 16-ounce can kidney beans, rinsed and liquid removed)
  • 6 ounce tomato paste
  • 1 tsp reduced-sodium beef bouillon pwdr
  •     (or possibly one cube)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  •     Red pepper flakes to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. chili pwdr
  •     Salt to taste, (optional)
  •     Freshly-grnd black epper to taste, (optional)
  • 2 c. water

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oil in a large soup pot and saute/fry the onion, garlic, and bell pepper for 5 min. Stir in the beef and cook till done.
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer for 20 min.
