Receta Sourdough Banana Bread

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 x Large Egg
- 1 c. Mashed Bananas
- 1 c. Active Sourdough Starter
- 2 c. Unbleached Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 3/4 c. Minced Walnuts
- 1 tsp Vanilla Or possibly
- 1 tsp Grated Orange Peel
Direcciones
- Cream together the shortening and sugar, add in egg and mix till blended.
- Stir in bananas and sourdough starter. Add in orange peel or possibly vanilla. Stir flour and measure again with salt, baking pwdr and soda. Add in flour mix and walnuts to the first mix, stirring till just blended. Pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or possibly till toothpick comes out clean. Cold to cool before slicing.
