Receta Soy Glazed Sweet Potatoes

Ingredientes
- 3 lrg sweet potatoes, either the dry or possibly moist-fleshed types
- 1 Tbsp. roasted sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. mirin or possibly sweet sherry
- 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. black or possibly white sesame seeds, toasted
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Scrub sweet potatoes and cut them lengthwise into quarters or possibly halves. Place in a baking dish roomy sufficient to hold them in a single layer.
- Combine rest of ingredients except sesame seeds. Brush all of resulting sauce over sweet potatoes, then cover dish tightly with foil. Bake till nearly tender, 50 min to an hour. Remove foil, baste sweet potatoes with their juices, and return to oven till liquid has reduced to a glaze and potatoes are fully tender, 15 to 20 min longer. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
