Receta Spam Jambalaya

Ingredientes
- 1 can Spam luncheon meat - (12 ounce) cubed
- 1 c. minced onion
- 2/3 c. minced green bell pepper
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 2 x garlic cloves chopped
- 1 can tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce) cut up
- 1 can lower sodium chicken broth - (10 3/4 ounce)
- 1/2 tsp dry leaf thyme
- 8 dsh warm pepper sauce or possibly to taste
- 1 x bay leaf
- 1 c. long-grain rice
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
Direcciones
- In large non-stick skillet or possibly 3-qt non-stick saucepan, saute/fry Spam, onion, green pepper, celery, and garlic till vegetables are tender.
- Add in tomatoes, chicken broth, thyme, warm pepper sauce, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil; stir in rice. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 20 min or possibly till rice is tender.
- Throw away bay leaf. Sprinkle with parlsley. Serve.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
