Receta Spicy Chickpea and Carrot Tagine
Ingredientes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 star anise pods
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 15.5-ounce can chickpeas, drained
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 carrots, peeled and julienned
- 2/3 cup water
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- note: we used the galangal because we didn't have any ginger...otherwise we would have used a teaspoon of fresh chopped ginger
