Receta Spicy Marinated Shrimp

Ingredientes
- 2 lb Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 1 x Lemon, cut in half
- 8 c. Water
- 3/4 c. White vinegar">wine vinegar or possibly tarragon vinegar
- 3/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 x Serrano chiles, (more or possibly less, depending on taste), seeds and veins removed, finely chopped Or possibly, up to 2
- 1 x Dry chile de arbol, crushed, (no seeds)
- 1/4 c. Fresh cilantro, minced
- 2 lrg Cloves garlic, chopped or possibly put through a garlic press
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh cilantro, minced, (if you like)
- 3 x Green onions, (white part only), chopped
- Â Â Freshly grnd black pepper, to taste

- These might be good at a Superbowl party.
- Combine the water, salt and lemon halves in a Dutch oven, and bring to a boil. Add in the shrimp, stir, and boil gently for 4-5 min. Remove from heat and drain.
- Combine the vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, chiles, cilantro and garlic in a large zip-top plastic bag or possibly other plastic container. Add in the boiled shrimp, and chill for 12 hrs or possibly overnight, turning several times.
- To serve, drain liquid from shrimp. In a large bowl, combine chilled shrimp with additional cilantro, green onions and black pepper, and toss well.
- Arrange in a serving dish, and serve immediately.
