Receta Steak Salad with Romesco Dressing
Ingredientes
- 5-6 T extra virgin olive oil, divided
- 2 T Spanish dry sherry
- 4 T white wine vinegar (or sherry vinegar)
- 1 T Spanish smoked paprika
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t oregano
- 2 lbs flank steak (or if you use tenderloin or sirloin, 2+ lbs worth of thick sliced steaks)
- 2 red onions, thickly sliced
- 3 sweet bell peppers, thickly sliced
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 head red leaf lettuce, cleaned and torn into pieces
- 1 head romaine lettuce, cleaned and torn into pieces
- Romesco dressing (see below)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 T fresh orange juice
- 2 T white wine vinegar (or sherry vinegar)
- ¼ t Spanish smoked paprika
- 1½ T chopped almonds
- 3 T extra virgin olive oil
