A great refreshing salad most often requested by ladies groups

  • Salad;
  • 1 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper Blend
  • 1/2 lb. Baby Spinach leaves, washed
  • 1/2 to 1 pint. Fresh Strawberries, sliced. (Depends on your love of strawberry)
  • 1 Kiwi peeled and sliced then cut in half
  • 1 Tbsp. Slivered Almonds
  • Dressing;
  • 1 tsp. Mrs. Dash Original blend
  • 1 Tbsp. Raspberry preserves
  • 1 small can Chipoltes in Adobo Sauce **
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil, (extra virgin Olive Oil)
  • 1 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar. (or good distilled white vinegar)
  • (I added the juice from a small can of blueberries to thin sauce)

Direcciones

  1. Directions;
  2. 1. Place salad ingredients in a bowl, add the remaining salad ingredients and toss.
  3. 2. Make dressing and begin with vinegar and oil and stir while adding oil. Mix well, then add to raspberry preserves** using only one Chipolte pepper diced and 1 tsp. of sauce. Last add Mrs. Dash blend and mix well.
  4. Refrigerate until serving, then add dressing to salad and toss mixing well. Serve immediately.
  5. Note; if dressing is too thick, (it will look thick) I added a little Blue Berry Juice. About 1 TBLSP. It should be just thin enough to toss. NOT Liquid.
