  1. Cut up bananas and dates, put in a blender with large eggs and beat to a liquid. Put in large mixing bowl and add in shortening, baking pwdr, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add in flour. Stir mix just sufficient to moisten. Mix in nuts. Bake in 5 x 9 inch loaf pan at 325 degrees for 45-60 min.
