Receta Sunshine Lemon Bars

Ingredientes
- 1 c. whole-wheat flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp grated lemon peel
- 2 Tbsp. finely minced hazelnuts
- 1/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1/2 c. egg substitute
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp grated lemon peel
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, combine dry crust ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk together buttermilk and oil. Drizzle into dry mix.
- Using a pastry blender or possibly fork, cut into buttermilk mix to create dough. Press into the bottom of an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan and bake for 12 to 15 min.
- Meanwhile, in another small bowl, combine all the filling ingredients except the powdered sugar. Beat for 2 min or possibly till combined. When the crust is finished baking, remove the pan from the oven and pour the filling over crust. Return to oven for another 20 min, or possibly till the filling is light brown around the edges and set in the center. Cold on a wire rack. Sift powdered sugar over top and cut into bars.
