Do you know what we call «sweets of the spoon» in greek? They are sweets made with fresh fruits, boiled in a syrup till the syrup is thick and they are then kept and used all year round.

The original method of serving is to put a small spoon full of the sweet in a small plate and serve it accompanied with cold water.

Also it can be added to yoghurt or even to an icecream.

Starting my preparations for the forthcoming winter, I made a sweet using grapes.
