Receta Herbed Tomato Orange Sauce
Ingredientes
- 2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tbsp. minced fresh oregano
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. plum tomatoes with juice
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 3 ounce. part skim Mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
Direcciones
- In large non-stick skillet, heat oil, add in garlic, stirring constantly 2 min. Stir in oregano, basil and salt. Add in tomatoes, bring to a boil, cook 10 min, crushing tomatoes with the back of a spoon. Stir in orange juice, simmer 3 min. Remove from heat, stir in Mozzarella. Serve with warm cooked pasta. Makes 4 servings.
