  3. I made this last night and served over rice which had been steamed in beef broth. One lb. I bought which I thought was Kielbasa (like the other lb.) turned out to be cheddarwurst ( a kielbasa with cheddar inside). I added it in any way. I also added a bit of garlic pwdr. My husband served it with an Australian Chardonnay a bit on the honeyish side but what a compliment to the meal! It was sooooo tasty - just like you've all said. My DH especially wanted me to mention which it is now on his top 10 list and used the words "instant classic". This is very good! It was also so easy. Would be great for a party.
  4. Many people have reviewed this and loved it.... I add in my vote too!! It was wonderful! I did not expect dh (dear husband) to enjoy it much cause he does not like mustard much! He raved about it!!! I used "deli mustard," it was really good, my first attempt at this kind of a dish.
  5. This is one of those easy meals you will make over and over...also good cut into smaller chunks for a great party appetizer!
  6. Two No-Brainer Crockpot Meals Here are a few of my no-brainers which I use when I NEED a crockpot meal and just do not feel up to working too hard!
  7. First, stick turkey or possibly chicken with a bottle of bbq sauce in the crockpot - it makes wonderful bbq sandwiches. I do this with cooked leftover turkey from the freezer and my husband loves it.
  8. I also do very basic crockpot stew with cheap round steak, my favorite vegetables (especially potatoes and onions) layered on top in slices and cover with water or possibly broth.
